Day 1. Arriving to Tbilisi
You arrive in Tbilisi, we will meet you at the airport and take to your hotel. In the evening we’ll have a general welcome meeting, kick off about the ride, you will get bikes, sign documents, then we go to a welcome dinner.
Day 2. Tbilisi, city tour
Walking city tour with local guide, after free time. You can change cash, buy some souvenirs, taste local wine.
Day 3. Tbilisi – Chiora 260 km
In the morning we ride to Gori, where we visit the Stalin Museum. Then we have lunch and our way lies to Chiora, where we will stop at a wine chateau. In the evening, homemade dinner, wine tasting and outdoor recreation.
Day 4. Chiora – Kutaisi 180 km
After breakfast we ride to the Barakoni Church and further to the Alexandrouli winery. Then we go to the Prometheus cave and try to arrive in Kutaisi not late so that we have time to walk around the city center. Dinner at the authentic restaurant Sisters.
Day 5. Kutaisi – Mestia 250 km
In the morning we ride along secondary roads through rural / provincial Georgia to the highway to Mestia. The paths are narrow, winding, non-touristy, but good. On the way we will visit Martvili Canyon and have a shot boat trip. Then we stop by the Inguri hydroelectric power station and then we come to Mestia.
Day 6. Mestia, rest day
Today we will hike to the Chalaad Glacier and visit the Svan Museum. Svan watchtowers are well preserved in Mestia, we will also see them.
Day 7. Mestia – Batumi 300 km
We get down from the mountains to the Black Sea. We visit the Dadiani palace in Zugdidi, the church of St. Nicholas in Poti and stop for the night in Batumi.
Day 8. Batumi – Trabzon 200 km
Today we cross the border and enter Turkey. On the way to the city of Trabzon we will visit the Gonio fortress, as well as admire the waterfall and stop by the Rize Museum.
Day 9. Trabzon, rest day
Swimming in the sea, rest and walking around the old city center
Day 10. Trabzon – Erzurum 310 km
Today is a busy day. We will walk through the Trabzon Botanical Garden, visit Panagia Sumela Monastery, Kov and Bayburt castels. In the evening we will arrive in Erzurum.
Day 11. Erzurum – Kars 220 km
Today we ride to the city Kars, on the way we visit the local ski resort, Penek mahalla, Ishkhani monastery, several waterfalls, Seyitefendi mahalla. In the afternoon we have a look at the Boğatepe Cheese Museum.
Day 12. Kars – Vardzia 195 km
Today we return to Georgia. Our goal is Vardzia - an ancient cave city, where we will definitely take a walk.
Day 13. Vardzia – Yerevan, 260 km
Today we cross the border and enter Armenia, heading to Everan, its capital. After check in at the hotel we have dinner and small walk over the city center.
Day 14. Yerevan, rest day
Half day excursion, after free time.
Day 15. Yerevan – Sevan 286 km
Today we have a long day, we’ll visit the main sights of Armenia: Khor Virap, Symphony of Stones, Garni Temple and end the day we meet at Lake Sevan.
Day 16. Sevan – Dsegh 220 km
On a beautiful road through Dilijan, we go to Dsehg. Dilijan is a mountain climatic and balneological resort, surrounded by the territory of the Dilijan Reserve - one of the richest in the South Caucasus.
Day 17. Dsegh – Tbilisi 150 km
Today we leave Armenia and return to Tbilisi, making several stops at few places of interest. Farewell dinner in the evening.
