Route: Krasnoyarsk – Abakan – Shushenskoye – Kyzyl – Ak-Dovurak – Daurksoe – Krasnoyarsk

Day 1. Krasnoyarsk, arrival
You arrive in Krasnoyarsk and get to the hotel on your own. At 5:00 PM, we have a tour briefing. We meet the guides, sign the papers, and get our motorcycles. After that, we all go to a restaurant for a group dinner.
Day 2. Krasnoyarsk – Abakan, 480 km
We leave the city streets of Krasnoyarsk and head into the deep forest. We ride through the taiga on quiet, winding roads, enjoying the silence of the Siberian nature. On the way, we pass the Kozinsky Viaduct – an impressive bridge hidden in the mountains.
We cross the border from Krasnoyarsk Region into Khakassia. The landscape and atmosphere change: we see ancient standing stones, the taiga slowly gives way to the wide Khakassian steppes, which lead us to Abakan, the capital of the Republic of Khakassia.
Day 3. Abakan – Shushenskoye, 200 km
The road follows the Yenisei River to a viewpoint for the huge Sayano-Shushenskaya Dam. Its wall is 245 meters high, making it the tallest dam in Russia. After the dam, we go to the "Shushenskoye" Museum. It's an open-air village that shows what life was like in Siberia in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. We also see the memorial house where V.I. Lenin lived during his exile.
Day 4. Shushenskoye – Kyzyl, 340 km
The normal asphalt road changes to real mountain roads. We go over passes and on winding roads near the Ergaki Nature Park. We stop at photo spots to see the famous mountain shapes: the Sleeping Sayan, Parabola, and Dragon's Tooth. You can take a short hike to the Hanging Stone. The hike is about 2-3 km round trip and takes about 1.5-2 hours.
After Ergaki, we cross the border into the Republic of Tuva. The scenery changes again: the mountains step back, and we see steppes with ancient burial mounds. We arrive in Kyzyl, the capital of Tuva. It is the geographical center of Asia, where Buddhist and shamanic traditions mix.
Day 5. Kyzyl – Ak-Dovurak, 320 km
We ride past river valleys and steppes to the sacred mountain Khaiyrakan. Local people consider this unique rock to be a source of power.
Next, the route takes us to the Ustuu-Khuree Buddhist temple, a key cultural and religious center of Tuva. On the way, we see traditional homes, yurts, and pastures. The temple itself is a highlight, where we can feel the atmosphere of Buddhism and local culture.
In the evening, we ride to the city of Ak-Dovurak, an industrial center on the border of Tuva and Khakassia. The city's name means "white earth" because it lies at the foot of mountains made of white marble
Day 6. Ak-Dovurak – Kyug Yurt Camp, 375 km
This is one of the longest, most beautiful, and remote days of the trip. We ride for hundreds of kilometers through areas with very few people. The main highlight is climbing the Sayansky Pass, which is 2,214 meters above sea level. The road goes over mountains, and we cross two other smaller passes with great views of valleys and rivers.
After that, we go down to the village of Abaza, which has a history of mining. The last part of the journey goes through pastures and steppe roads. We finish the day at the "Kyug" yurt camp, where we can relax and enjoy real Khakassian hospitality.
Day 7. Kyug, Rest Day
This is a full day to rest. You can learn about Khakassian culture, try local food, take a walk in the steppe, or visit ancient standing stones and burial mounds. If you feel like riding, you can take a trip on a good gravel road to the sacred stone Khurtuyakh Tas. This stone, shaped like a woman, is a very important symbol of motherhood for the Khakas people.
Day 9. Dauskoye – Krasnoyarsk, 200 km
This is our final day. The road takes us to the famous Krasnoyarsk Hydroelectric Power Station near the city of Divnogorsk. Then we go to a famous Siberian viewpoint called "Tsar-Ryba" (King Fish). There is a monument to a huge sturgeon, the hero of a book by Victor Astafiev. The view from here of the river, cliffs, and endless taiga is amazing.
We return to our starting point, Krasnoyarsk, where we have a farewell dinner to share memories of our motorcycle trip.
