RMT Travelers Meeting is a festival created for the loyal guests of Rus Moto Travel. Once upon a time – back in 2017 and 2018 – we already held similar gatherings, and they were fantastic. In 2026, we want to bring this tradition back.
Not included in the ticket price (paid separately on-site):
Festival Format
1. Presentation & Talk Zone
Talks and presentations about the most exciting countries and routes: Magadan Road of bones and the Pamir Highway motorcycle tour, Tibet and Patagonia, South Africa, Namibia, Sakhalin, Altai, the Caucasus, Nepal, India, and many more. You can come to listen, ask questions, and figure out whether a particular destination is right for you.
In the previous years, our speakers included Pasha Kobyak, Andrey Valikov, and Lesha Anoshko. We expect to invite special guests again – details will follow. We would love to hear stories about Iran, Afghanistan, or Turkmenistan, where our friends recently traveled.
2. Outdoor Masterclass Area
Short training sessions and workshops on various practical topics: Navigation and mounting a phone on your bike, using CarPlay and your smartphone effectively, how to plug a tire, how to change a tube-type wheel, whether or not to air down tires on gravel, and when, types of tires and luggage systems, adjusting handlebars and levers for off-road riding, motorcycle safety basics, how to clean a leaking fork with a bottle neck, what to do if your bike “drowns” in a river and much more.
3. Quarry / Enduro Training Grounds
We’ve preliminarily arranged with the BMW Moto School for Zhenya Pyatigorsky to join us. We plan to run 6 – 8 enduro workshops in groups of 8 – 10 people. You won’t learn to ride off-road in just 1.5 – 2 hours, but you’ll get the fundamentals and understand the structure of proper training – and where your skills need work. Afterwards, you can sign up for a full course.
In past years, enduro sessions were led by Vadim Shpilevsky and Dima Davydovsky, and they were incredibly helpful.
4. Spa & Sports Zone
The hotel sits on a lakeshore, with several great saunas, a hot tub, a floating sauna in the middle of the lake, rowboats, a beach, table tennis, pull-up bars, and more.
After listening to talks or practicing on the training ground during the day, you can spend the evening relaxing in the sauna or swimming in the lake.
Dima K will host a special masterclass on horizontal stretching in any environment.
Morning yoga sessions are possible, and in the evening we can have a table tennis tournament.
And of course – the traditional arm-wrestling competition from Dima G.
5. Open Bar & Kitchen Area
Next to the presentation hall, there will be an open field kitchen where we’ll cook pilaf, grilled fish, BBQ, dolma, tea, samovar-style drinks, and more.
In previous years, cooking together was a fun team-building activity – like a culinary corporate retreat.
There is also a restaurant at the hotel where you can order sides, salads, and draft beer, but preparing food together outdoors is a special kind of pleasure.
Important: We are not planning a drinking festival. Alcohol will be limited. We cannot forbid it completely, but please understand that this is not the focus.
Our goal is an interesting, high-quality, meaningful two-day program centered around motorcycle travel and the community. A little drinking is okay – but only a little.
6. Local Ride-Outs Around the Eco Club
During the day, optional 3 – 4 hour asphalt and off-road ride-outs will be available in the surrounding areas.
If you’re not into lectures or workshops, you can join these rides with other participants. Or mix it up – listen to a talk, go for a ride, then come back for more.
Accommodation:
Write to us for all accommodation details – we’ll guide you through the options.
There are single and double rooms, attic rooms without windows, forest-view balconies, and cabins for 2, 4, 6, or 8 people. The entire base is booked exclusively for us.
Important: Previously, the Eco Club had a camping area, but we’ve been told tents are now strictly prohibited.
If someone really wants to camp, there are nearby camping spots outside the hotel territory – write to us, and we’ll point you in the right direction. In spring, we’ll need to check that everything is still available there.
Still, we recommend booking a room – early June rain and tents are not the best combination.
Tickets & Practical Info:
Friday at 15:00 – gathering
Sunday at 13:00 – departure
Everyone arrives in Valdai independently.
If you need a rental motorcycle, let us know.
We hope to see all our long-time guests and friends.
