Day 1. Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City
Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, transfer to the hotel. Tour briefing, document signing, and motorcycle pickup. After that, a short walk around the city followed by a group dinner at a restaurant.
Day 2. Ho Chi Minh City – Ke Ga, 220 km
Ride from bustling Ho Chi Minh City to the peaceful beaches of Ke Ga, crossing the Cat Lai Ferry. Along the way, enjoy a mix of urban, rural, and coastal scenery while getting familiar with the bike. Rice paddies and rivers accompany us on the route. Check-in at a great seaside hotel with a swimming pool.
Day 3. Ke Ga – Nha Trang, 280 km
The route from Ke Ga to Nha Trang follows a scenic coastal road with diverse landscapes and local flavor. We pass the beaches and sand dunes of Mui Ne and enjoy panoramic views of the South China Sea. A stop at Vinh Hy Bay for a swim or fresh seafood among cliffs and crystal-clear waters. Arrival in Nha Trang, a lively resort city.
Day 4. Nha Trang – Mang Den, 320 km
Ride from Nha Trang to Mang Den along the scenic Ho Chi Minh Road, climbing from sea level up to 1 200 meters. Along the way are rice fields, rolling hills, mountain serpentines, valleys, and coffee plantations. A striking contrast between Vietnam’s coastal and highland landscapes.
Day 5. Mang Den – Hoi An, 250 km
Ride from Mang Den to Hoi An via beautiful backroads through hills, villages, and terraced rice fields. Winding mountain passes and rural scenery with wooden houses and paddies. Arrival in the ancient town of Hoi An, dinner on the pedestrian street, and free time for shopping (purchases can be shipped to Hanoi).
Day 6. Hoi An, Rest Day
A day off from riding and a walking tour of Hoi An. A very tourist-friendly town with countless small shops, markets, cafes, and restaurants - all within easy walking distance. We’ll stroll around at a relaxed pace and buy local souvenirs.
In the evening, dinner at the French bistro Cabanon. A simple place run by French owners, known for excellent service, huge portions, and outstanding food.
Day 7. Hoi An – Khe Sanh, 320 km
Ride along the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail, used during the Vietnam War. The route winds through forests, hills, rice paddies, and rural villages, offering beautiful views of streams, mountains, and everyday local life.
Day 8. Khe Sanh – Phong Nha, 320 km
Khe Sanh is a place rich in Vietnam War history, surrounded by lush hills and scenic landscapes. Visit the Khe Sanh Combat Base, then continue along the Ho Chi Minh Trail with views of forests, rivers, and villages. Experience local life and stay overnight at a farmstay with a swimming pool.
Day 9. Phong Nha, Rest Day
Phong Nha (Quang Binh Province) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its karst mountains, rich biodiversity, and vast cave systems. Highlights include Phong Nha Cave with impressive stalactites and boat tours, as well as Paradise Cave, one of the longest dry caves in Asia (31 km).
Day 10. Phong Nha – Thanh Hoa, 250 km
A scenic ride along winding roads through dense forests and charming villages. Along the way, we’ll see rice fields and local farmers at work. A stop by the peaceful Ma River to enjoy the views.
Day 11. Thanh Hoa – Hanoi, 180 km
Visit Ninh Binh - the “Halong Bay on land,” with rice fields and limestone mountains. A boat trip through the Tam Coc caves along the scenic Ngo Dong River. Transfer to Hanoi, hotel check-in, and a farewell dinner at a cozy restaurant.
