Moscow – Saint-Petersburg: Custom Tours before/after St.Petersburg Harley Days

Every year in the beginning of August one of the most beautiful and popular Russian cities hosts exciting motorcycle festival – Harley Days Saint-Petersburg.

Rusmototravel, motorcycle tour operator and rental company from Moscow, kindly invites all motorcycle lovers to combine your ride to festival with a custom tour to Moscow or any other place in Russia (Murmansk in the North, Sochi in the South or even Vladivostok in the Far East).

Price for 10 day Moscow-Saint-Petersburg custom tour for a group of 6 riders is approx. 2500-3000 Euro per person. Price can change depending in the group size, services required.

Day 1. Crossing the border and first night in Russia at Lake Derbovezh, 350 km

We meet you in Latvia (Rezekne) and together cross the border. After passing it we ride half way and stay for night at countryside hotel with local food and Russian sauna. Today you will both of it. In the evening we have welcome dinner and rest after long and exhaustive day

Day 2. Lake Derbovezh – Moscow, 400 km

Ride to Moscow with visiting plenty of small towns and villages of the way. We will stop at a monastery not far from Moscow and try “квас”, traditional close to beer alco free beverage. In Moscow we will have a dinner in best beer USSR restaurant and after walk to Red Square. At night with all lighting it looks amazing.

Day 3. Moscow

This day we have an excursion around the city. Starting with Kremlin and Red Square, we will see GUM (The main shopping mall) and Saint Basil’s Cathedral. Later on we will explore the subway (Metro) and have a walk on Arbat, which is the most famous pedestrian street in Moscow, where you can buy authentic Russian souvenirs.

Day 4. Moscow

One more day we spend in the capital of Russia. There are still plenty of interesting places to visit. There are beautiful museums, cathedrals, central Gorky Park, local market, the Sparrow Hills with probably best view of the city and Night Wolves motorcycle clubhouse.

Day 5. Moscow – Valday, 400 km

In the morning we will go to the Red Square to make photos with the bikes. After that, we leave Moscow and head to Valday. We will have lunch in Tver, the small provincial city 200 km from Moscow. We also visit Valdaisky Iversky Svyatoozersky Bogoroditsky Monastery, one of the most praised places for Orthodox Russians.

This night we will spend in the cozy hotel on the territory of the Valdai National Park. Here you will see the authentic household with meat and dairy products and have a chance to take Russian baths. There are also very interesting forest roads which we can explore on bikes or a horseback. If anyone in the group would want to have some off-road experience, Valday is the ideal spot for that.

Day 6. Valday – Saint-Petersburg, 400 km

Today we ride through several small towns and arrive in St. Petersburg in the evening. One of the cities along our way is Novgorod – one of the oldest and most famous cities in Russia. It celebrated the 1155th anniversary in 2014. It’s a birthplace of the Russian state and democracy. The old Kremlin and Monastery preserved in the heart of the city.

We also stop in Gatchina and take a look at the Castle and a Park, and have a coffee and catch our breath back. After that, we go straight to Saint Petersburg, check-in in the hotel and have a dinner in the Museum of Russian Vodka.

Day 7. Saint-Petersburg, Harley Days Festival

Program according to festival timetable, with excursions, riding and other entertainments. Today and in next few days you will see main city places of interest: Peterhof, Palace Square, Nevskiy Prospect, Hermitage, St. Isaac's Cathedral and the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood.

Day 8. Saint-Petersburg

Day 10. Saint-Petersburg – Estonia, Finland

Together we ride to the border and you return back home.
