Our anniversary tours to the Kaluga region have come to a close. Four weekends, four amazing groups – it turned into a real celebration, not just your average weekend motorcycle tours. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on these August and September weekends, to everyone who has ridden thousands of miles with us over the past 10 years and came to mark this milestone.
We planned an interesting route that combined great riding with cultural enrichment. The first day – we set off through Vereya, then on the way to Medyn we couldn't pass by the military vehicle museum near "Voenfilm". Here you can not only look at but literally touch legendary cars, tanks, and airplanes. After that, the open-air art park – Nikola-Lenivets. Something amazing was happening around the art installations: everyone was taking photos, climbing on everything possible, jumping on a giant trampoline, trying to understand what the artists mean. It was fun to watch our grown-up and serious crew exploring these unusual sculptures with delight and excitement. That's where we really went wild!
Then, the main event of the evening and the tour – the anniversary dinner in Kaluga. We raised our glasses to 10 years of roads, adventures, and to those we shared them with. The gatherings were incredibly warm.
The second day was dedicated to history. Kaluga is the cradle of spaceflight! Many hadn't been to the Tsiolkovsky Museum, so they were fully impressed. After space, we moved to the earthly and spiritual. We visited Kozelsk, specifically "Vikhlyandia" – an absolutely fabulous and crazy place. Next – a complete contrast, the Optina Pustyn Monastery. The ringing of bells, peace, and centuries of history. And at the end of the day, the capital of pastila (Russian marshmallow), Belev, and many pleasant roads curving through forests and fields.
And the third day – was all about beauty. Polenovo on the banks of the Oka River – the estate of the great Russian artist. We took a good walk in the park, had fun on the beach, and then headed home, bringing our little anniversary adventure to a perfect close.
All in all, it was a fantastic weekend tour: we enjoyed the road (yes, it was 100% a road tour), visited museums, saw natural beauty, and most importantly – spent time with wonderful people.
Thank you all for this reunion! To those who couldn't join us – don't be upset. Next year, for our regular guests, we'll organize something similar, maybe even better. And the Moscow-Kaluga tour will join our lineup of weekend tours. The 2026 calendar is already starting to take shape, so keep an eye on our website and our Telegram channel.
See you on the road!
