We've posted two New Zealand tours on our website, for 16 and 21 days, for the end of 2026 and 2027. In short, here's the situation – we made a 16-day tour (14 days + 2 days for arrival/departure) around both islands:
- All the main sights;
- BMW motorcycles are available, and there are other options too;
- The flight goes through China with just one stop. It's quite fast, convenient, and inexpensive, considering how far we're flying.
Overall, it's a very nice and beautiful route.
Then, our guide Anton Aleshanov said it would be better to go for 20-22 days. An extra day for a trek around a volcano, a day to go out to sea and see whales, a day to watch a Rugby game and see the All Blacks perform the "haka", visit a cave in a national park, a day for surfing/swimming in a beautiful bay, and there's a lot more to do there.
We discussed for a while what would be better: to make a longer tour with everything, or a shorter one? 16 or 21 days?
In the end, we decided not to guess and just posted both tours. We'll see which one is more popular and then decide. An A/B test, so to speak...) If you have the time and opportunity, of course, the 21-day tour is better. But on the other hand, the 16-day tour is also an excellent, well-packed route where you'll see all the main things.
And if someone wants, they can stay after the tour for a week, a month, or a year. Or you can always come back if you really like it, maybe for a hiking trip in NZ or for yachting.
So, take a look, choose, and sign up!
